Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED plus six months distribution/service center experience and six months order filler experience; or combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Ability to pass drug test.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Availability to work weekends, any shift, and overtime.
  • Accuracy/attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize/prioritize variety of tasks and projects.
  • Knowledge of standard product packaging and ability to identify discrepancies.
  • Familiarity with distribution center receiving terms and processes.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
  • Fred Meyer lift truck certification/license.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure.
  • Six months company distribution/service center experience.
  • Experience examining incoming shipments, rejecting damaged items, recording shortages, and corresponding with shippers to rectify damages and shortages.
  • Ability to match merchandise and quantities to purchase orders.
  • Experience receiving merchandise using handheld units and routing to processing areas.
  • Experience operating lift truck.
  • Ability to perform essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
