Verify and maintain records of incoming shipments, and route to processing areas. Demonstrate the Company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

• Examine incoming shipments; reject damaged items; record shortages; correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Match merchandise and quantities to purchase orders.
• Receive merchandise using handheld units and route to processing areas.
• Operate lift truck.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus six months distribution/service center experience and six months order filler experience; or combination of relevant education and experience.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work weekends, any shift, and overtime.
• Accuracy/attention to detail.
• Ability to organize/prioritize variety of tasks/projects.
• Knowledge of standard product packaging and the ability to identify discrepancies.
• Familiarity with distribution center receiving terms and processes.
• Ability to operate a forklift, and pallet jack.
• Fred Meyer lift truck certification/license.

• Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure.
• Six months company distribution/service center experience.
