Berglund Ford in Salem, VA is seeking experienced and motivated A-Level Automotive Technicians / Master Technicians to join our growing service department. As part of our family-owned dealership group, you’ll have the opportunity to advance your career with Ford Factory Training

, your role is critical in diagnosing and repairing advanced automotive systems while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle systems to manufacturer specifications (including brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, heating/AC, transmission, and engine performance)
Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
Provide accurate labor and time estimates for necessary repairs
Communicate effectively with service advisors, clearly explaining mechanical issues and recommended repairs to non-technical individuals
Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through ongoing training and certification
Assist and mentor lower-level technicians to ensure team success
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Minimum 2 years of professional experience as an automotive technician
High School Diploma or GED required
Valid Driver’s License required
ASE certifications preferred (A4 Steering & Suspension, A5 Brakes, A6 Electrical/Electronic Systems, A8 Engine Performance, etc.)
Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a team-focused environment
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
Full-time, in-person position
Day shifts, Monday–Friday with some weekend availability
Overtime opportunities may be available
