Designated Institutional Official – Southwest Virginia - Lewis Gale Medical Center
HCA Healthcare’s Capital Division has an opportunity for a dynamic medical education leader to fill the role of Graduate Medical Education Designated Institutional Official [DIO] for our residency and fellowship programs at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.
Qualified Candidates:
- Medical Doctor (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), other Doctorate-level (e.g., PhD, EdD, JD), or other qualifications deemed appropriate by the Division Vice President of GME and facility leadership.
- Prior experience as a DIO, significant experience as program director, or other GME administrative role is highly preferred.
- Experience in undergraduate medical education administration or other healthcare industry administration may be appropriate in certain situations.
