As an Echo Cardiac Sonographer, you will perform all established echocardiography procedures, communicate the nature of the procedure to patients, and address any questions or concerns.

• Recognize sonographic characteristics of normal and abnormal tissue, structures, and blood flow while adjusting scanning techniques to optimize image quality and spectral waveform.
• Analyze sonographic findings throughout the course of the examination to ensure a comprehensive exam is complete and sufficient data is provided to the physician for a final diagnosis.
• Initiate additional scanning techniques or administer contrast agents as indicated by the examination.
• Work in partnership with other healthcare professionals to provide the best medical care possible for all patients.
• Perform stress echo testing when needed.

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program.
• RDS eligible or registered.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer.
• Minimum of 2 years of cardiac/echo sonographer experience.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Full time, day shift hours.
