• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,690 - $1,820 per week

• Location: Salem, VA 24153 (Virginia healthcare job)
• Facility: Modern hospital with 10 main Operating Rooms
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/12/2026 – End: 4/13/2026)
• Shift: 10-hour days (06:45 – 17:15), rotating call on weeknights and weekends
• Hours per Week: 40
• Employment Type: Travel healthcare contract
• Dress Code: Scrubs provided

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Technician (ORT), OR Tech, or First Assist
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or ORT certification required
• Licensed First Assist with Virginia Board of Medicine
• Clinical proficiency in Ortho, Da Vinci robotic procedures, Neuro, and Ortho trauma
• Experience with craniotomy, spine fusion, liver resection, Whipple, and MAKO total joint procedures
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system

• Assist surgeons during complex surgical procedures in a busy operating room environment
• Deliver direct patient care with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Operate and maintain advanced OR equipment, including Da Vinci robotics
• Collaborate with circulating nurses and multidisciplinary surgical staff
• Participate in a rotating call schedule for weeknights and weekends
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation using Meditech
• Maintain the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence
