Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist — Cardiac Surgery & Scrub

Hire Now Staffing is recruiting Certified Surgical Technologists for CVOR opportunities with a healthcare client in Salem, Virginia.

This direct placement opportunity is suited to surgical technologists with scrub or hospital operating room technician experience who bring attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to safe surgical care. Multiple positions are available.

• Listed Compensation: $24.87–$34.82, with a listed midpoint of $29.85; pay frequency to be confirmed.
• Schedule: Full-time days with rotating weekends.
• Sign-On Bonus: Considered case by case.

• Prepare the operating room, surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for assigned procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and support the sterile field throughout surgery.
• Anticipate surgical team needs and pass instruments and supplies during procedures.
• Participate in surgical counts and safety checks according to facility procedures.
• Collaborate with circulating nurses, surgeons, and other surgical team members.
• Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent cases.
• Follow established infection-prevention, equipment-handling, and patient safety procedures.

• Certified Surgical Technologist, consistent with the position title; accepted certification requirements will be confirmed during screening.
• One to two years of scrub or hospital experience as an operating room technician
  , as specified by the employer.
• Basic Life Support (
  BLS
  ).
• Availability to work full-time days with rotating weekends.

• Brings relevant scrub or hospital operating room technician experience.
• Can clearly describe the surgical specialties and procedures they have supported.
• Demonstrates familiarity with sterile technique, instrument preparation, and surgical team support.
• Communicates effectively and stays organized during procedures.
• Can meet the stated schedule.
• Lives near Salem or is prepared to relocate.
