Recurring Morning Caregiver Needed – Salem, VA
I’m looking for a dependable, patient caregiver for my 14-year-old autistic son.
Schedule:
Approximately 7:00–10:00 a.m., 4–5 mornings per week, while I work out nearby.
Pay:
Approximately $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience.
My son is nonverbal and generally enjoys quiet mornings and familiar routines. He requires consistent adult supervision, particularly because he has a history of wandering/elopement.
I’m looking for someone who is reliable, attentive, and comfortable following established routines. Experience with autism or special-needs caregiving is strongly preferred.
Applicants must have their own reliable transportation and be comfortable in a home with dogs, cats, and rabbits.
There may also be opportunities for occasional evening or date-night babysitting, but these hours are entirely optional and arranged separately.
