CNC Maintenance Technician

Are you an experienced CNC Maintenance Technician looking for a new opportunity? Join our team in Salem, VA, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining and improving operations while earning competitive pay and a generous sign-on bonus.

Pay Rate: $28.00 - $33.50/hour

Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM | Monday - Friday

Sign On Bonus: $5,000 (eligibility rules apply)

• Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronics work on CNC and manual machines in the machine shop.
• Conduct electrical and electronic repairs on furnaces and foundry equipment.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and maintain records per Graham White's Quality System.
• Communicate across departments regarding equipment status and related issues.
• Continuously develop new skills to ensure equipment runs efficiently.
• Follow and enforce GW Hazardous Energy Policy (Lockout/Tagout).

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.

This is a skilled position and expertise is required in electronics and PLC ladder logic. The position will also require the ability to learn CNC diagnostics and repair, proficiency in personal computer use (including CMMS systems), strong communication skills (both verbal and written) as well as the ability to plan and order materials as needed. Knowledge of phone and data transmission systems is a plus, though it is not required.
