In this role you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the materials and products are received, allocated, stored, and documented to standards. This is a 2nd Shift position operating during the hours of 2:00pm‑10:30pm and overtime on Saturdays as required. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and material handling equipment with a focus on safety and quality. You’ll be a key contributor to the success of our plant.

- Safely operate forklift and material handling equipment.
- Perform inventory functions including but not exclusive to: cycle counts, physical inventory, product checks.
- Load and receive materials from trailers.
- Load, store, and move materials in and out of racking.
- Perform loading documentation process in accordance with Hazmat rules.
- Operate and use plant’s warehouse management system/RFID.
- Perform packing, quality checks and documentation as required.
- Hand stack palletized product as necessary to ensure smooth operation of the facility.
- Be responsible for the final quality of every unit placed into a customer’s shipper. If unsure of the quality standard required, check with the Team Leader before packing questionable product.
- Be responsible for safety and housekeeping in the immediate work area. Help to clean and report any unsafe conditions to your Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, SOPs, safety standards, and all plant policies and procedures.
- Possibility of working in high noise levels, depending on location.
- Constant interaction with a variety of chemicals and chemical products.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- 2 years of forklift experience is highly preferred.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Able to visually concentrate, remain alert, and listen intensely for extended periods of time.
- Able to stand, sit, lift, bend, crouch, reach, and climb consistently for twelve hours.
- Able to grasp and manipulate a variety of packaging components (e.g., sprayers, bottles, caps).
- Must work in accordance with Health and Safety and GMP regulations.
- Must lift 45 lb. from floor occasionally.
- Must safely operate the forklift around co‑workers, other forklifts, and mechanical and electrical equipment for up to 12 hours.
- Work in non‑temperature‑controlled environment, including high temperatures and humidity for extended periods.
- Must be able to work overtime where necessary.
