- Collect specimens for testing.
- Assist physician during procedure and maintain and stock Special Procedure area.
- Be a resource for Surgical Scheduling relative to bookings.
- Provide relevant and complete documentation on patient related activity.
- Educate patient and family related to procedure, medications, follow-up home care.
- Assume responsibility to stay current with available training and literature to ensure quality patient care in Special Procedures.
- RN VA License or Multi-state Compact License.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- Associate Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
