Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position on an oncology unit requiring an active VA or compact RN license and at least one year of recent Med/Surg experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital setting on the Oncology (6W) unit
- Medical-Surgical patient population with a focus on oncology cases
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Will provide care for oncology patients in the Med/Surg unit
- May be required to float within scope based on facility needs
- Specific dress code and holiday coverage may apply as per hospital policies
- Candidates with Canadian SSNs will not be considered
- Active VA or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience
- Current AHA or ARC BLS certification valid for at least 30 days after start
- ONC certification required for RNs working in oncology
- No gaps in work history equal to or exceeding 90 days in the past 12 months
- Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
