We are currently seeking a skilled Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner) or PA (Physician's Assistant) specializing in Cardiology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality patient care and support to our cardiology department. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of cardiology projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of cardiology patients.
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.
• Monitor and manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
• Provide patient education on cardiovascular health and disease prevention.
• Participate in rounds, case conferences, and team meetings.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

• Valid NP or PA license in the state of practice.
• Certification in Cardiology or relevant specialty.
• Demonstrated experience in a cardiology setting.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular conditions, treatments, and medications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Schedule:

24-hour call coverage

Patient Volume: 25 per shift

Will see clinic patients, round on inpatients, and serve as first assist in the CVOR

Support Staff: CT surgeon

EMR: eCW

Must be board-certified
