LPN - FT DAY Shift - $3,000 SIGN ON BONUS!

Join the Mount Regis Center as a Licensed Practical Nurse for a full‑time day shift with a $3,000 sign‑on bonus. This 68‑bed drug and alcohol treatment center in Salem, VA offers comprehensive inpatient, detox, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient services for adults 18+.

Hours:

3‑12 hour day shifts with an every‑other‑weekend rotation. LPN 7A‑7P and LPN 9A‑9:30P both provide 36 hours per week. Night shift positions receive a $5,000 sign‑on bonus.

Provide nursing care within the scope of LPN practice, ensuring patient safety, professionalism, and compassionate service at all times.

• Monitor patient health and administer basic care using the nursing process within the LPN scope of practice.
• Model excellent customer service and demonstrate urgency for patient safety.
• Collaborate to meet patients’ physical, biopsychosocial, developmental, and cultural needs; resolve complaints when appropriate.
• Provide basic comfort and individualized nursing interventions per the care plan.
• Apply interventions to progress toward wellness and maintain wellness.
• Communicate therapeutically with patients, families, and staff; report status changes to RNs and physicians.
• Deliver medication safely per policies, physician orders, and current practice.
• Maintain professional nursing practice standards per facility policy and external credentialing bodies.
• Document patient symptoms, responses, and progress thoroughly and accurately.

• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
• One or more years of nursing experience within a clinical area preferred.

• Current LPN/LVN license as required by state.
• CPR and de‑escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility.
