American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Freestanding Emergency Department position requiring ED nursing experience and night shift availability.

• Work in a Freestanding Emergency Department with 8 beds
• Care for high and low acuity ED patients including critically ill cases
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• EMR used is Meditech
• Equipment used includes GE
• 4 weekend shifts per schedule

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC
• ENPC certification preferred
• ED nursing experience required
• Ability to care for critically ill patients
• Must provide US SSN and DOB for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Responsibilities include medication administration, lab work, and care for critical patients
• Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Navy blue scrub attire required
• No floating required for this position
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
