American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Free-Standing Emergency Department requiring ED nursing experience and TNCC certification.
Details- Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) setting with 8 beds
- Cares for high and low acuity ED patients, including critically ill cases
- Patient ratio of 4:1
- Daily staffing includes 2 RNs and 1 EMT on day shift plus 2 mid-shift RNs, and 2 RNs on night shift
- Utilizes GE equipment and Meditech EMR
- Shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- No floating required
- 4 weekend shifts required per schedule
- Active RN license (VA or Compact) in hand
- Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Required ED nursing experience
- Able to care for critically ill patients
- ENPC certification preferred
- Must have no employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Perform medication administration, patient monitoring, and lab collection for ED patients
- Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Navy blue scrub attire required
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
