American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Free-Standing Emergency Department requiring ED nursing experience and a VA or compact RN license.

• Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) with 8 beds
• Day shift staffing includes 2 RNs, 1 EMT, and 2 mid-level RNs; night shift staffed with 2 RNs
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Care for both high and low acuity ED patients including medication administration, critical patient care, and labs
• Uses GE equipment and Meditech EMR
• Shift hours are 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• 4 weekend shifts required per schedule
• No floating required

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• ED nursing experience required
• Able to care for critically ill patients
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC
• ENPC certification preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required

• Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Navy blue scrub attire required
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates will be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience level
