American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Medical ICU position requiring ICU experience and a VA or compact RN license.

• 12-bed Medical ICU within a hospital setting
• Staffed with RNs, externs, and support from paramedics, clinical coordinators, and management
• Patient ratios vary between 2:1, 3:1, and 1:1 depending on acuity
• Equipment used includes Tablo, Belmont, Baxter pumps, Codman EVDs, Hillrom call system, Imobile, and Hemosphere
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Works every other weekend with no on-call requirements
• Floating required throughout the facility
• 13-week assignment length

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• PALS, NIH Stroke, and TNCC certifications preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)

• Perform procedures such as EVD management, SLED, central line care, para/thoracentesis, lumbar drain management, and TTM
• Team-oriented personality fit preferred
• Navy blue scrub attire required
• No block scheduling, with flexibility to accommodate most scheduling needs
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
