Base Pay Range
$31.00/hr - $38.00/hr
The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) based on location. State Pay Differential may apply where required by legislation.

Responsibilities- Lead and develop teams effectively through teaching, training, and active listening to associates in stores.
- Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
- Introduce and lead company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions.
- Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards following the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
- Manage and support customer service initiatives, including community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved.
- Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and provide process improvement leadership to ensure high‑quality customer experience.
- Drive financial performance and sales of designated store area by reviewing and evaluating Profit & Loss statements, managing budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
- Ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes, developing plans to mitigate shrink and achieve profit goals.
- Supervise and provide development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition, promoting a belonging mindset and recruiting qualified associates.
- Coordinate job‑related activities, build relationships with key stakeholders, support plans and initiatives, identify goals, and measure progress.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and support company mission, values, and ethics, implementing action plans and guiding application of business processes.
- Build high‑performing teams, embrace differences, foster belonging, and encourage continuous learning and innovation.
- Act with integrity, uphold highest standards of ethics, transparency, and fairness, supporting Walmart’s regenerative goals.
- Serve customers and members by delivering results, putting customer first, applying EDLP/EDLC models, and making data‑driven decisions that consider all stakeholders.

- 2 years of college OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- For facilities that sell firearms: successful completion of a Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
- For facilities that sell only ammunition: a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
- Associates must attend and complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
