Staff Accountant

Job Summary

Join Geoprobe Systems® as a Staff Accountant to support financial operations and ensure accurate daily, weekly, monthly and annual accounting functions. This role is not remote and is based in Salina, Kansas.

• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities and reconciliations.
• Complete regulatory filings including sales/use taxes, excise taxes, and other entity filings.
• Provide managerial reporting on a weekly and monthly basis; supply ad‑hoc reporting as needed.
• Maintain fixed asset tracking and administration.
• Manage daily cash activities.
• Administer vehicle fleet and filing.
• Manage intellectual property.
• Assist Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable with problem resolution.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a comparable field.
• 0–5 years’ experience in accounting.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong data analysis ability for informed decision‑making.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and follow‑up skills.

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge (tables, formulas, pivot tables, basic macros, XLOOKUP).
• Experience with SAP/ Epicor Kinetic software.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Costing and variance analysis.
• IFTA, DOT, and trucking‑related reporting administration experience.
