Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for bulk material handling equipment.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, sales, and service teams to ensure designs are practical and meet customer needs.
- Conduct testing and analysis to validate designs and troubleshoot issues.
- Support product improvement initiatives and contribute to R&D efforts.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality procedures.
- Other job duties as assigned with each specific role.
- Vortex Dry Bulk & Solids Facility (1725) – Primary production site for bulk and solids handling components.
- Spectrum Metalcraft (304) – Custom metal fabrication, abrasive blast and precision work.
- Hamar Automation (850) – Primary CNC Machining and Air Cylinder assembly.

- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering related field (Mechanical, Industrial, etc).
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in industrial or manufacturing settings.
- Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Works preferred).
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with pneumatic systems or bulk material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with FEA or other simulation tools.
- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge.
