We’re seeking an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of full‑time Mortgage Loan Originator. This role involves developing leads and originating mortgage loans through branches, realtors, and builders, and responding to referrals from branch personnel and others. Candidates should have a solid understanding of mortgage regulations, processes, and other bank products, and must be able to communicate effectively, exercise independent judgment, and meet production standards set by management.

• Develop, lead, and originate mortgage loans through branches, realtors, and builders.
• Interview mortgage loan applicants and take loan applications from customers.
• Send applicant files to processors in the centralized loan support area.
• Respond to referrals from branch personnel and other sources.
• Assist in obtaining additional data or information when requested by processors.
• Cross‑sell all bank products and services.

• Must live and be based out of California (preferably Orange County).
• Minimum of 2+ years of mortgage lending/sales experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience; MBA or Master’s preferred.
• Creativity, flexibility, integrity, and commitment to customer support are essential.
• Ability to work autonomously with considerable independent judgment.
• Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations and work flexible hours.

Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.
