Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift – Salina, KS

• Assignment Type:
  Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Unit:
  Birth Center – Labor & Delivery, occasional Mom/Baby unit
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts/week
• Duration: 13-week contract (Start: 10/6/2025 – End: 1/5/2026)
• Weekend Coverage:
  Every other weekend
• Patient Population:
  Neonates, infants, adolescents, adults
• Unit Details: 8-bed LDR with OR and PACU, Level II NICU, 16-bed postpartum unit, 1,200+ deliveries/year
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,970–$2,110

• Active Kansas or Compact RN license (required at submission)
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with Meditech or GE Centricity EMR preferred
• Must reside at least 100 miles from facility (mileage rule)
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Professional references required
• Former employees of Salina Regional not eligible

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns, including high-risk deliveries, C-sections, and postpartum care
• Assist with sterile speculum exams, non-stress tests (NST), oxytocin challenge tests (OCT), and fetal monitoring
• Administer IVs, medications, and manage labor & delivery procedures
• Provide newborn care, including assessment, neonatal resuscitation, and parent education
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, RT, pharmacy, social services, rapid response)
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to guidelines
• Float to Mom/Baby unit as needed
