Certified Medical Assistant/Certified Nurse Assistant Cardiology
The medical assistant or certified nurse assistant is responsible for providing quality patient care as assigned by professional nursing staff or physicians in the clinic setting.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- High school or equivalent
- Completion of a medical assisting training course
- Medical assisting preferred
Required Registration/License/Certification
- Medical Assisting Certification (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, RMA or CNA)
- Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completed within the first 90 days of employment.
