Provides medical nutrition therapy to patients of all ages in the acute care setting. Provides nutrition education to patients and families as well as hospital staff. Works as a member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree in nutrition and dietetics
A Master's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics is required after January 1, 2024.
Completion of Commission of Dietetic Registration accredited dietetics internship and approval to sit for registration exam
Required Registration/License/CertificationRegistration-eligible or registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
Current Dietitian licensure with the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services
