Medical Assistant​/Phlebotomist​/Medical Receptionist Float

Mowery Clinic is seeking a dependable and versatile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist / Medical Receptionist Float to support our clinical and administrative teams. This role is ideal for an individual that is comfortable working in multiple areas of the clinic and adaptable to step in where needed to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent patient care.

• Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs and medical history
• Prepare and clean exam rooms
• Assist with minor procedures and treatments
• Accurately document clinical information in the EHR
• Answer and return patient phone calls

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws
• Properly label, process and prepare specimens

• Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner
• Schedule appointments and manage phone calls
• Verify insurance information and collect co-pays
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Qualified applicants must be motivated self-starters with strong organizational and computer skills. Must be a dependable team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to communicate effectively with patients and co-workers in a positive and professional manner. Requires initiative and ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively and efficiently. Previous medical office experience or clinical setting preferred.
