Assistant General Manager

City Express by Marriott in Salina, Kansas, seeks a dependable hands-on Assistant General Manager to help lead daily hotel operations and deliver excellent guest service.

Responsibilities include supporting the General Manager, supervising and training staff, coordinating front desk, housekeeping and maintenance activities, managing reservations, resolving guest services. The role also involves assisting with scheduling, reviewing daily reports and night audit procedures, monitoring expenses and ensuring a clean, welcoming and well-maintained hotel.

Job Qualifications:

• Previous hotel operations experience required; front desk supervisory or hotel management experience preferred. Strong communication, leadership, organizational and guest service skills.
• Ability to train employees, resolve guest concerns professionally, prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Comfortable using hotel property management systems, email and basic spreadsheets. Marriott experience and familiarity with opera are preferred.
• Must be dependable and available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and provide hands-on support across hotel departments as needed.
