The Diamond Baseball League (DBL) is a professional‑grade collegiate summer baseball league which will begin play in 2026. The league has secured its inaugural six markets in Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska, which include first‑class facilities and multi‑year stadium leases. The league will own and operate each of the six inaugural teams to ensure operational consistency and efficiency and the long‑term financial security and growth of the League.
DBL management has over 100 years of combined professional sports experience, including ownership and operation of collegiate summer, independent and minor league teams, and leadership positions in Major League Baseball. Teams will play a 50‑game schedule (30 home, 20 road) from late May into the first week of August, 2026.
The General Manager will oversee day‑to‑day operations of the team, lead sponsorship sales, manage the operating budget, and collaborate with the League Office on all phases of franchise operation including marketing, food and beverage, stadium operations, and team management. The GM will build community presence through speaking engagements and social business functions to develop the team’s brand and generate revenue.
Qualifications- Management experience with a baseball franchise.
- Demonstrated ability to sell sponsor ships for a sports organization.
- Ability to identify and evaluate strategic opportunities and build business relationships.
- Proven leadership and talent management skills, experience successfully leading, and developing a strong and growing department or division.
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented operational manager.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment; adapt to change, manage competing demands, and handle frequent changes.
- Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays.
- Full‑time year‑round salary position.
- Bonuses paid based on accomplishment of organizational objectives.
