Are you someone who takes pride in working with your hands and delivering top‑notch results? Spectrum Metalcraft, a Vortex Company, is looking for a detail‑oriented and motivated Prep Paint Technician to join their Weekend Shift team. In this hands‑on role, you'll play a vital part in prepping and finishing product components—sanding, polishing, buffing, grinding, and retouching each piece to perfection. You'll also mix and blend colors to ensure every component meets our high standards of quality and appearance.

Hamar Automation, a Vortex Company, is looking for a mechanically inclined and detail focused CNC Machine Operator to join their Weekend Shift team. In this hands‑on role, you'll play a crucial part of a fast‑paced environment with operating numerically controlled machines to fabricate parts. You'll also shear, saw, drill and assemble product components per engineering specification.

• Perform assigned product prepping and finishing tasks
• Prep and add finishing touches to the appearance of product components
• Conduct quality checks and ensure the finish of parts and components is of the highest standard
• Optimize production efficiency by upkeeping and/or maintenance of equipment, tooling, and work area
• Collaborate with other departments to complete production orders on time
• Operate and monitor computerized controls to ensure machines are performing tasks correctly
• Read blueprints or other instructions to determine output goals are met
• Comply with internal policies and industry regulations

Both positions require working 36 hours regularly from Friday through Sunday from 5:00 am – 5:00 pm with the possibility of overtime if required.

• High School Diploma required
• Technical training and/or work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to lift at least 550 lbs independently if required
• Mechanical aptitude preferred
• Skilled in the use of multiple hand tools
• Proficiency in reading tape measures
