Aircraft Painter is in charge of aircraft and its sub‑assemblies painting and sealing process, including surface preparation, masking, and chemicals handling. May include limited duties of paint and sealant application.

Painting Experience is REQUIRED

The Aviation Painter prepares, paints, and finishes aircraft components in our maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility in compliance with safety and operating procedures.

• Operate aviation coatings, including paint, lacquer, epoxy, and other materials, and perform the preparation and cleaning requirements for each.
• Operate tools and equipment used, including paint guns, dryers, cleaning station, and others.
• Read, understand, and follow technical data and other documents.
• Understand and comply with safety and operating procedures.
• Understand hazardous materials requirements related to products used.
• Read, comprehend technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints, and other repair station data written in English.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Specialized knowledge can be developed through on‑the‑job training.
• Strong organization skills.
• Results‑oriented attitude.
• Ability to communicate with internal and external constituents and work independently and as part of a team.

• Able to lift, crawl, kneel, bend and stoop without restrictions.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs. on a consistent basis.
• Able to stand for long time frames.
