We are currently seeking a dedicated Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist). As a Nurse Anesthetist, you will play a crucial role in administering anesthesia to patients undergoing medical procedures. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the comfort and safety of patients throughout their treatment. As a Locum CRNA, you will be responsible for providing anesthesia services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Your role will involve collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement anesthesia care plans, monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, and ensure optimal patient outcomes. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and making a difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs during anesthesia.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to create individualized anesthesia care plans.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the anesthesia process.
  • Assist in the post-anesthesia recovery process.
  • Document patient information and anesthesia care accurately.
  • Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines related to anesthesia administration.
  • Participate in continuous education and training to stay current on anesthesia best practices.
Requirements:
  • Valid CRNA certification and state licensure.
  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule:

8, 10, or 12-hour shifts

Overnight beeper call shifts required

Daily Volume: 8 patients

Must be highly experienced in spinals and epidurals

Will work independently

Board certification required

Paid travel & expenses
