Coordinates the plan of care for gastroenterology patients, focusing on quality, access, and timely delivery of services. Provides clinical oversight of GI procedure scheduling, patient education, and transitional care needs. Assesses, plans, implements, monitors, and evaluates options and services to meet individual health care needs. Ensures well-orchestrated, coordinated GI care that emphasizes quality, efficiency, and safety, while serving as a patient advocate and clinical liaison to providers and external partners per ASGE guidelines.
This position works under the supervision of the Director or Clinic Manager and in collaboration with clinic physicians and mid-level providers to ensure seamless patient care.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
- 6 months clinical experience
- Gastroenterology experience preferred
Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completed within the first 90 days of employment.
Schedule-Shift-Hours Full Time - Day Shift - M-F
