Description:
Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Works according to professional standards and state regulations. Surgery call requirements may include two weeknights, one Friday, and two 24-hour weekend shifts every four weeks. PACU call requirements may include one weeknight, one Friday night, and two weekend shifts per month. Ambulatory call may require one Friday night and two weekend shifts per month.
