Overview

GM and Food (General Merchandise, Closing, Fulfillment, Inbound, Food and Beverage, Starbucks) position ponsibilities include supporting inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes across General Merchandise areas; ensuring inventory accuracy, merchandising setup, pricing, and efficient guest-focused service.

• Create a welcoming guest experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs as you complete daily tasks.
• Assist guests and solve their specific needs, thanking them for shopping at Target.
• Perform daily tasks assigned by leadership to support business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment certified to move merchandise or store fixtures as needed.
• Execute processes such as price changes, merchandise setup and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Know available resources, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking, packing, and delivering pickup orders) while complying with laws.
• All other duties as needed by the business.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and other peak times.
• From the start: welcoming attitude, ability to communicate via handheld devices, work independently or in a team, resolve guest questions quickly, and attention to detail with multi-step processes.
• Ability to handle cash register operations and move merchandise safely (up to 44 pounds) and work in varying temperatures and elements as required by duties (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
• Flexibility with schedule and reliable attendance.
