Salary & Benefits- Base salary: $52,000+ depending on experience and responsibilities

Ka-Comm, Inc. is seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Representative to help deliver cutting-edge communication and public safety equipment to our customers. This includes two-way radios, dispatch consoles, emergency lighting, sirens, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in law enforcement communication equipment and a technical background.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct personal visits and service calls with potential and existing customers to showcase our equipment and services
- Ensure the sales process runs smoothly, including communication and working with other offices and other Sales representatives with internal sales support
- May include scheduled overnight travel for trade shows and customer events
- Maintain accurate records for sales and administrative purposes
Follow company rules, policies, and procedures
- Valid driver’s license
- Company vehicle to conduct business
- Experience with public safety equipment preferred
- Ability to operate a laptop, Quick Books, and other sales tools
- Strong reading, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to read plans and interpret customer specifications
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to meet schedules and deadlines
- In-depth understanding of Ka-Comm, Inc.’s products and services
- Knowledge of applicable codes and safety regulations
- Experience navigating client needs and providing solutions
Physical Requirements
- Work occurs both indoors and outdoors, sometimes around machinery with moving parts
- Drive a company vehicle as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and maintain energy for a 10-hour workday
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and co-workers
