We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented VRF HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems in commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with VRF technology, including diagnosing system performance, troubleshooting electrical and refrigeration components, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install VRF/VRV systems, including indoor and outdoor units, piping, and controls.Perform start-up, commissioning, and functional testing of VRF systems.Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity.Diagnose and repair refrigeration circuits, electronic controls, and communication systems.Identify refrigerant leaks and perform proper recovery and recharging procedures.Troubleshoot electrical issues, including wiring and communication faults.Technical & Compliance:
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer manuals.Ensure all work meets industry regulations, safety standards, and local codes.Maintain accurate service records and documentation of work performed.Communicate effectively with customers and team members to explain technical issues and solutions.Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to ensure smooth project execution.Provide recommendations for system improvements and energy efficiency.Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC service, with a focus on VRF/VRV systems.Education: High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC trade school or certification preferred.Certifications: EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal) required.Technical Skills: Proficiency in working with VRF brands such as Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, and Carrier.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Preferred Qualifications:
Manufacturer-specific training on VRF systems.NATE certification or equivalent HVAC industry credentials.Strong knowledge of building automation and control systems.Benefits:
