Client Services Representative I – Western Growers Health
Western Growers Health, part of the Western Growers Family of Companies, provides employer-sponsored health benefit plans to support employers in the agriculture industry. The company’s mission is to deliver value by offering robust health plans that meet a diverse workforce’s needs.
Compensation$40,580.28 – $52,756.02 and a rich benefits package that includes profit‑sharing.
Responsibilities- Enroll, implement, and educate Western Growers Assurance Trust (WGAT) and Pinnacle Claims Management Inc. (PCMI) health benefit plan participants.
- Collaborate with third‑party vendors related to employee health benefits.
- Investigate problems/issues, determine root cause, evaluate results, and determine necessary corrective actions using established procedures and protocol.
- Educate newly enrolled and existing plan participants on health plan and ancillary benefits via site visits, phone or virtual platforms.
- Conduct group benefits presentations in English and Spanish.
- Provide one‑on‑one support to address applicant concerns or questions.
- Serve as primary contact for benefit utilization questions.
- Assist with enrollment paperwork, ensuring accuracy and completion.
- Organize assigned group service meetings and open enrollment events.
- Research and respond to claim and administration questions using Health Care Processing system and CTSR web‑based tools.
- Request Benefits Information Booklets and Benefit Summaries/SBCs for each account.
- Support sales and client teams with plan comparisons, pre‑filled enrollment/waiver forms.
- Attend employee client events to promote and enroll participants in value‑added programs.
- Compile and track data on issues, actions, and resolutions using CTSR web‑based tool.
- Document all services: enrollments, meeting minutes, events, courtesy calls.
- Generate reports on metrics and suggest process improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; 1–3 years of customer service experience preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish required; ability to use Spanish up to 70% of the time.
- Intermediate knowledge of computer software, with proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish; ability to present information clearly in both languages.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, with strong follow‑up ability.
- Clean DMV record and ability to travel up to 30% of the time within the U.S. (primarily California and Arizona).
Employee must travel to indoor and outdoor areas with varying environmental exposure and temperature. Requires driving a motor vehicle, using tools or controls, lifting up to 50 lbs. Moderate noise level. Reasonable accommodations for disabilities may be provided.
