Job Summary

Under general supervision of the Senior Director, the Preschool Fine Arts Facilitator in partnership with the teacher guides an assigned group of students using developmentally appropriate practices and creates an environment in which 3-5 year‑old children can experiment, make choices, solve problems and share their experiences with others. The facilitator also participates in and attends parent education and parent involvement activities.

Requirements

/ Qualifications
  • Education:

    High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Education:

    AA degree in a Fine Arts related field (within 24 months of hiring).
  • Experience:

    3 years teaching music to preschool‑age children.
  • Licenses and

    Certifications:

    Valid California Driver’s License and evidence of insurability CPR certification appropriate for the age level of assignment within six (6) months of employment.
  • Application Documents:
    Letter of Introduction, Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 required), Proof of HS Graduation, Resume.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience working with special needs children.
  • Bilingual:
    English/Spanish.
