Base Pay Range
$130,000 - $160,000 per year
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and talented Controller with agricultural experience, to join our dynamic team on site. The role is permanent and will play a pivotal role in managing and improving the company’s financial performance.

- Oversee all financial and accounting functions including budgeting, asset management, cost management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, planning, and forecasting.
- Provide leadership in evaluating short‑ and long‑term strategic financial objectives.
- Ensure credible finance group through timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.
- Evaluate and advise on long‑range planning, new programs and strategies.
- Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgeting, consolidation, and reporting.
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
- Provide executive management with advice on financial implications of business activities.
- Recommend ways to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
- Guarantee effective internal controls, compliance with GAAP and applicable laws for financial and tax reporting.
- Minimum 3+ years in a Controller or equivalent role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
Master’s or CPA is a plus. - Proven experience in the agricultural business sector.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Strong leadership skills managing diverse teams.
- Excellent analytical skills in budgeting and forecasting.
- Ability to develop and implement financial systems and processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of checks and balances in the financial system.
- Proficiency in accounting software and related tools.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
