Provide intake services and acquired approval for clients’ services through Medi Cal and private insurance. Maintain alcohol and drug counselor status. Ability to conduct intake and assessments including treatment plans for individuals. Serving the special needs of program participants and individuals. Facilitate groups for participants in an outpatient program. Activities are designed to support environmental change for individual recovery in a Social Model setting using evidenced-based curriculum (Matrix).
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with adults in the alcohol and drug addiction fields.
Familiar with Medi-CAL & ASAM criteria and EHR (Electronic Health Records) via AVATAR and other platforms. Must be certified within the State of California as an SUD Counselor.
