Bilingual Behavior Technician - Paid Training & Certification at Burnett Therapeutic Services

Base pay range: $21.00/hr – $24.00/hr pay increases after you obtain RBT certification.

As a Behavior Technician, you’ll work 1:1 with children with autism or developmental delays, in their homes, clinics, or schools, to build communication, social, play, and daily living skills through structured, play‑based activities. Sessions last 2–3 hours; your caseload will be tailored to match your availability and age group preferences.

  Part‑time (10–25+ hrs/week). Preference for 2:00–8:00 pm availability.
• Work settings:
  In‑home, clinic, or school. Sessions Monday‑Friday 8 AM–8 PM, some weekends.

• Deliver one‑on‑one behavior support through individualized, fun activities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
• Collect and record data on client progress accurately.
• Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.

• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children.
• Experience with children or individuals with disabilities is a plus—though not required.
• Highly preferred:
  Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field.
• RBT certification is a plus; we will cover the cost of obtaining it.
• Spanish‑speaking is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Reliability and willingness to work with a variety of clients.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding).
• TB test (within 90 days), MMR & Varicella immunizations, and pre‑employment physical (within past year).
• Background check (FBI & DOJ).
