Bilingual Behavior Technician - Paid Training & Certification at Burnett Therapeutic Services
PayBase pay range: $21.00/hr – $24.00/hr pay increases after you obtain RBT certification.
Job SummaryAs a Behavior Technician, you’ll work 1:1 with children with autism or developmental delays, in their homes, clinics, or schools, to build communication, social, play, and daily living skills through structured, play‑based activities. Sessions last 2–3 hours; your caseload will be tailored to match your availability and age group preferences.

Part‑time (10–25+ hrs/week). Preference for 2:00–8:00 pm availability. - Work settings:
In‑home, clinic, or school. Sessions Monday‑Friday 8 AM–8 PM, some weekends.
- Deliver one‑on‑one behavior support through individualized, fun activities.
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Collect and record data on client progress accurately.
- Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support.
- Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.
- Competitive pay: $21–$24/hr, based on experience.
- Pay increase after obtaining RBT certification.
- Mileage reimbursement between client homes.

- 40‑hour paid training to prepare you for the RBT exam and reimbursement for the exam if you pass on first try.
- Ongoing supervision and coaching from the Training Team, Supervisor, and BCBA.

- Supervision hours and internship support for BCBA, LMFT, or LCSW credentials.

- Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children.
- Experience with children or individuals with disabilities is a plus—though not required.
- Highly preferred:
Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field. - RBT certification is a plus; we will cover the cost of obtaining it.
- Spanish‑speaking is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
- Reliability and willingness to work with a variety of clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
- CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding).
- TB test (within 90 days), MMR & Varicella immunizations, and pre‑employment physical (within past year).
- Background check (FBI & DOJ).
