Description:
Under minimal supervision, performs diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, Angiography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or Computed Tomography, across neuro, abdominal, chest, and extremity areas. Assists physicians with fluoroscopic procedures, transports patients, prepares exam areas, and verifies physician orders. - Required Qualifications:
Completion of a two-year Radiologic Technology training program approved by the American Medical Association (AMA) and/or Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited; CRT, ARRT certifications, and Fluoroscopy license are required. ARRT certification for CT technologists is also required; must hold current BLS/Healthcare Provider status. Valid California Driver's License required; at least one year of experience as a licensed Radiologic Technologist;
one-year recent experience in CT, MRI, or Angiography/Special Procedures preferred; current licensure and certifications must be maintained, with up to 12 months allowed to meet ARRT CT requirements. - Schedule:
Day shift, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with some call hours from 6:30 PM to 8:00 AM and some weekends. - Additional Information:
Performs patient care during procedures, monitors patient conditions, assists during emergency treatments, manages contrast media, and documents procedures accurately in hospital information systems. Maintains CEU credits and CPR certification.
