Job Summary:
Under minimal supervision, performs diagnostic computerized tomography (CT) procedures as requested by a physician to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Responsibilities include performing daily and weekly QA on CT equipment, starting intravenous lines (IVs), administering contrast media, and entering technical data into the computer. The role requires the ability to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served and perform duties based on the area of assignment.

Required Qualifications:
- At least one (1) year of experience as a licensed technologist.
- Ability to perform specialized CT procedures.
- Epic experience required:
Minimum of six (6) - twelve (12) months within the past year.
- Completion of a two-year Radiologic Technology training program approved by the AMA.
- CRT and ARRT certificates.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).

Additional Information:
- Performs diagnostic CT procedures such as head, chest, spine, abdomen, pelvis, etc.
- Assists physicians in performing CT procedures like biopsies, cardiac, vascular studies, bone density, and 3-D reconstructions.
- Prepares patients for exams, starts IVs, administers contrast, and provides care during procedures.
- Evaluates patient conditions pre- and post-procedure and reports changes.
- Attends department meetings and maintains CEUs and CPR for licensure.
- Performs related duties such as reporting equipment malfunctions, cleaning work areas, and replenishing supplies.
