The role focuses on selling parts and service contracts to customers in the earth-moving equipment industry. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, develop sales strategies, and drive revenue growth.
Salary
This position offers a base salary plus commission, with total annual compensation ranging from $105,000 to $145,000.
Responsibilities- Perform the selling function of parts, which includes but not limited to undercarriage, fluids, GET, SOS and consumables.
- Attain long and short-term objectives through effective, methodical territory/time management and planning.
- Develop territory sales forecast and business plan.
- Maintain required records regarding customers in the sales territory (e.g., lost sales, machine population, surveys, influencers, serial number, and hour meter readings).
- Conduct and manage scheduled undercarriage/machine inspections.
- Maintain good working relationships with shop, parts, sales, rental and all other company department personnel.
- 2+ years of experience in a heavy equipment repair shop or parts department, with hands-on experience working with earth-moving equipment.
- Strong knowledge of parts and systems, including troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques.
- Ability to leverage technical expertise to drive sales and customer solutions.
