• Under Direct supervision: demonstrate the following competencies; responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  Proficient interpretation and application of utilities blueprints as applied to the electrical scope
• Follows all live-work policies & procedures
• Interprets & applies requirements of NEC for all installations, including special systems & occupancy
• Able to read UBC, NFPA-72, NFPA-70E, construction safety orders and all applicable code requirements proficiently
• Investigates or assists in investigation and reporting of near misses, incidents & injuries involving jobsite employees
• Under General supervision: responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  Supervises, directs, monitors, trains and works alongside one Electrician Trainee and/or one Apprentice delegated to assist him/her to ensure a safe and timely completion of assignment(s)
• Demonstrates proficiency in all aspects of trade related materials, components, equipment, systems, methods of installation, safety procedures, safe work practices, basic calculations, blueprint and drawing interpretation & troubleshooting
• Operates any hand and power tools and equipment necessary to perform all trade associated assignments
• Provides useful input on employee evaluations
• Instructs employees assisting him/her in the correct operation of tools and equipment, safe work practices, electrical principles & applicable NEC

Regularly exposed to environmental conditions inside and outside: inclement weather, cold, heat, and humidity. The noise level can be loud. Frequently exposed to vibrations, moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, machines, dust and chemicals. May be required to work in crawl spaces, shafts, man holes, small enclosed rooms, and other areas of close proximity. Occasionally required to work on elevated surfaces including ladders and lifts.

Rex Moore pays hourly/salary rates commensurate with knowledge, experience and skill level.

In addition to the tasks listed, the ideal candidate shall have, at minimum:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Enrollment in a State-approved Electrician Trainee program and actively taking classes
• Holds a valid Electrician Trainee certification through the state

• Regularly required to talk to communicate detailed, important information
• Frequently required to walk for long and short distances
• Frequently required to stand for sustained periods
• Frequently required to bend or twist at the neck and torso
• Frequently required to crouch, squat, stoop, kneel
• Frequently required to climb ladders to work from heights
• Occasionally required to use scissor, boom, and other lifts
• Frequently required to reach above head and use hands/upper extremities
• Frequently required to perform repetitive motion tasks
• Frequently required to lift up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs with assistance
• Occasionally required to sit in chair, vehicle, or equipment
• Frequently required to communicate detailed information verbally
• Must have near and far visual acuity; able to inspect parts and read signs; detect hazards
