Position Overview: The Site Utility Technician will operate various Class A, B, and/or C vehicles (including pumper truck, P&D truck, fence truck, container truck, etc.) to meet the operational needs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily inspections of vehicles before and after shifts, promptly reporting any deficiencies to the shop.
  • Notify management of improper operations, equipment malfunctions, or unusual working conditions.
  • Transport service trucks to specified work sites according to daily routing information.
  • Service portable restrooms, holding tanks, septic tanks, sinks, showers, and more at various locations, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Communicate any issues encountered on designated routes to management.
  • Maintain contact with dispatch via telephone or radio for instructions or changes in work locations.
  • Keep truck logs according to state and federal regulations.
  • Follow all established safety protocols diligently.
  • Use flatbed and fence trucks to deliver or pick up portable restroom units, hand sinks, holding tanks, or fencing materials.
  • Lead fence installation jobs when a crew is assigned, operating equipment as needed.
  • Drive tanker/transfer trucks to local dumps and complete required documentation.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Two years of general labor experience.
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class

    C).
  • Exceptional time management, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit while driving and stand while servicing products.
  • Use hands and fingers to handle tools and controls effectively.
  • Perform repetitive motions safely.
  • Ability to see details at various distances.
  • Communicate clearly with customers.
  • Understand and respond to spoken communication.
  • Recognize and differentiate between various sounds.
  • Walk for up to 30 minutes at a time without excessive exertion.
  • Enter and exit vehicles and equipment securely.
  • Lift up to 40 lbs from waist level to shoulders.
  • Lift 30 lbs from the floor to head height.
  • Crouch and squat regularly.
  • Push and pull up to 100 lbs horizontally.

Salary Range: $23.94 - $33.52 per hour. Our salary ranges reflect minimum and maximum base pay for the position across all locations in the US. Pay is determined by geographic location, skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation includes base pay and a comprehensive benefits program.
