Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee and optimize their comprehensive employee benefit programs. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless administration of health, welfare, and retirement plans, while maintaining compliance and fostering effective communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Benefits Administration: Manage and administer a variety of employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits. Act as the primary contact for benefits inquiries and issue resolution. Coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate benefits processing and maintain essential documentation.
- Retirement Plans: Oversee the administration of 401(k) and other retirement plans, ensuring accurate enrollments, contributions, and compliance. Collaborate with payroll and finance teams to streamline data processes and support regulatory requirements.
- Open Enrollment: Lead the planning and execution of annual open enrollment activities. Prepare and distribute enrollment materials, conduct educational sessions, and ensure accurate processing of employee elections.
- Data Management: Analyze and maintain benefits census data, ensuring accuracy across HRIS, payroll, and benefits platforms. Support strategic initiatives through detailed reporting and data analysis.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. Assist with audits and internal reporting, and develop metrics related to benefits utilization and costs.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in benefits administration or analysis.
- Proficiency in managing 401(k) plans and open enrollment processes.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data management and reporting.
- Experience with HRIS and benefits administration systems.
