Join a fast-paced manufacturing environment as a CNC Set Up Operator, where you’ll support tooling construction by setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills. Your precision and attention to detail will directly influence the quality and performance of finished components.
Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machines, verifying operations meet required specifications.
Position and secure stock/work pieces using vices, jaws, and hand tools.
Perform in-process inspections using gauges, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measurement tools.
Conduct insert and cutting tool changes as needed to maintain machine performance.
Ensure all produced tooling meets or exceeds quality standards.
Stop machining immediately when encountering safety or quality concerns.
QualificationsMinimum 1 year of experience operating CNC machines or programmable metal-cutting equipment.
Basic understanding of CAD/CAM software and general computer operations.
Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, rulers, and gauges.
Ability to read and follow shop drawings and written instructions.
General familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials, and substrates.
Hands-on role in a manufacturing and tooling environment.
Standing for extended periods; exposure to heat, noise, and dust.
Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
