Maryland’s Coast OB​/GYN Core Faculty Physician

Overview

Tidal Health on Maryland's Coast is a grade A, academic medical center committed to providing high-quality care, advancing medical research, and training the next generation of healthcare professionals. We are seeking an OB/GYN Physician to join our core faculty in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for medical education, clinical care, and research, contributing to the growth of our department and the advancement of women s health care.

• Resident Education
  :
  Supervise and mentor OB/GYN residents in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Provide didactic teaching, hands-on instruction, and feedback to residents and medical students.
• Clinical Care
  :
  Provide high-quality patient care in obstetrics and gynecology, including routine and high-risk obstetric care, gynecological surgery, and preventive services.
• Research & Scholarly Activity
  :
  Participate in clinical research and scholarly activities. Support residents in their research endeavors and contribute to academic publications and presentations.
• Leadership & Quality Improvement
  :
  Engage in departmental committees, quality improvement projects, and patient safety initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care.
• Service
  :
  Contribute to department and hospital service responsibilities, including call coverage and clinical responsibilities.

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Ability to obtain a Maryland license.
• Experience in resident or medical student teaching is preferred.
• Strong commitment to patient care, education, and research.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

• Fellowship training in a subspecialty area of OB/GYN (e.g., Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Reproductive Endocrinology, etc.) is a plus, though not required.
• Demonstrated track record of scholarly activity and research.
• Leadership experience in academic medicine.

• Base salary range: $358,000 - $447,000 (commensurate with experience and specialty).
