Physician - Interventional Radiologist

Tidal Health, in Salisbury, Maryland is seeking a BE/BC Interventional Radiologist to join its new hospital-based division of Interventional Radiology, building on the existing interventional services within the expanding healthcare network. Applicants should have a growth mindset and look to be equal partners in the division providing the full range of interventional services from biopsy and drainage, vascular access procedures, women's health, men's health, interventional oncology (ablation, chemo embolization, radio embolization), to management of portal hypertension and other advanced procedures.

There is ample opportunity to develop new service lines.

The interventional radiology facilities include two, full featured angiography suites and a brand-new hybrid OR Siemens suite, dedicated ultrasound equipment, procedural CT, and dedicated pre and post procedure recovery areas with a clinic space for outpatient visits. While the position is 100% IR, applicants interested in incorporating interpretation of diagnostic imaging can be considered based on the applicant's interest and credentials.

Call coverage is part of the clinical responsibilities.

As part of Tidal Health's growth and expansion, the hospital has started new training programs in internal medicine, anesthesia, general surgery, cardiology, family medicine, gastroenterology, hem/onc, psychiatry, hosp/pal care, rheumatology, has plans for orthopedic surgery and is considering radiology/interventional radiology in the future. Applicants should have an interest in education and collaboration with the full variety of other services in this 288-bed, Leapfrog grade A, tertiary care hospital.
